Paris Hilton ‘Drunk Text’ video released

A song by Paris Hilton hit the Internet on Thursday, warning of the dangers of drinking and texting - but could just as well apply to getting inebriated before writing song lyrics.

At first, many fans and critics believed it was a single from her upcoming album, but a spokesperson for Hilton told the News that it was just a joke song that the heiress had recorded a year ago.

In "Drunk Text," Hilton sings: "I went out to the club the other night, to you know, dance with my b---s."

And the lyrics continue to go downhill from there.

"It was just a drunk text, in my head I was writing a fiction of us," the song continues. "Behind my eyes I was begging for things that my lips would never ask. My mouth kept pouring desperate calls with random intent. He asked me if he could text me later.

"I'm too lazy to type, so I sent a photo I took up a dancer's skirt and I tell him to come and get it."

"I'm sorry, it was just a drunk text," goes the chorus.

"No one is safe in the Twittersphere anymore," she "sings."

That applies to the rest of the Internet, where the video is circulating.
